Who we are:

I (Rachel) first went to Kelleys Island for work.  I worked at Kelleys Island State Park for three summers.  I love nature, history, and the beach.  The island was the perfect place for me.  I fell in love with the island and its people almost immediately and Kelleys quickly felt like home.

I eventually had to move away from the island for a more permanent job, but I came back to visit every opportunity I had.

A few years later I got married.  I brought my husband Keith to Kelleys Island and he was hooked!  He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys time hunting and fishing on and around the island.  Over the years, as our family grew, we continued to come to Kelleys Island.  Our five children love the island as much as we do.

As the years went by, we would often talk about our dreams of owning a home on Kelleys Island.  In the fall of 2020, after some encouragement from some friends, we decided to make those dreams a reality.  In October of 2021 we purchased our home that we have named the Beach Glass Cottage on Kelleys Island.
